Who we are
Rides By Adam is a private driver service operated by Adam Penney in the Kansas City metro and surrounding areas. This policy explains how booking information is handled. Questions: (913) 274-9344 or bookings@ridesbyadam.com.
What we collect
When you book, we store first and last name, phone number, email address, pickup and drop-off addresses, date and time, passenger count, bags, airline and flight number or FBO when you provide them, notes, fare, payment method, and payment status. If you book for someone else, we also store that passenger’s name and phone so Adam can call them at pickup. We do not store your full credit card number. Card payments are processed by Stripe.
How we use it
We use this information to quote and complete your ride, send request and confirmation emails, collect payment, block calendar time, and contact you about pickup. If you book for someone else, we use the passenger’s name and phone so Adam can reach them at pickup. We may keep a record of past trips so Adam knows if you are a returning client.
Who we share it with
Stripe processes card payments. Email is sent through our mail provider. Confirmed rides can be added to Adam’s Google Calendar. We do not sell your information or share it for advertising. We do not share or sell your mobile number to third parties for their marketing.
Website visits
We count how many people open public pages on this site (today, this month, and this year) so Adam can see if the website is being used. A visit stores the date, the page path, a city and state from the network (not a street address), and a one-way code that is not your name, email, or phone. We do not store the visitor’s IP address with that record. We do not use this to advertise to you, and we do not sell it. Driver Desk, login, and automated crawlers are not counted.
Text messages
If you check the box when you book, we text that mobile number about the reservation only: confirmation, pickup, and payment. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out and HELP for help. We do not sell your mobile number or share it with third parties or affiliates for their marketing. Consent is not shared with any other business.
How long we keep it
Booking records are kept as long as needed to run the business, handle refunds, and meet tax or legal requirements. You may ask us to update or delete contact details that are no longer needed for an active reservation.
